Chwalimy się

To niezmiernie miłe, że powyższa praca wygrała w wyzwaniu
January Challenge na blogu Mixed Media@Art,
w związku z czym jadą do mnie same cudowności
z Fabrika Decoru na Ukrainie!
Ponadto będę gościem marcowego wyzwania!
Bardzo dziękuję!

A ten wpis został wyróżniony spośród prac na Mixed Media Place
co również przeogromnie cieszy.
Dziękuję!

Based On A Book

Hi there and let me invite you to join a brand new

BASED ON A BOOK

As always you can win a $50 voucher and spend it at SSS Store!

There are so many great books that the choice was very hard.
I decided to focus on the last one I have read which was
Robert Ludlum "The Parsifal Mosaic"

Znalezione obrazy dla zapytania ludlum robert książki

I looooove all the Ludlum's stories about spies and secret agents.
Love the books about Bourne and all the others he wrote.
So, my card is very masculine, dark, elegant and misterious...
Here below you can read about how I've made it.

1. Cover the base with white gesso making a stripped texture.
2. Moisture with water and give color with diferent sprays
applying the color on the top edge letting it fall down
through the stripes till the bottom edge.
3. Turn the base and let the color fall again. Dry with heat tool.
4. Spray with water drops and Ground Esspresso Spray.
5. Stamp some text and clocks on the background.

6. Die-cut the Dapper (Thanks, Emma!) from a black cardstock,
place it with 3D dots and give a glitter touch with Wink of Stella pen.
7. Die-cut several gears from a cardboard (Thanks, Sandra!), cover them with black acrylic paint, adhere to the background and cover with crackle paste.

Flying High

Oh how I love Mondays thanks to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges!
I hope you are waiting as impatiently as I do to see what the DT has created.

This week we'd like to TRANSPORT IT anyhow.

You can be a random winner of $50 as always and spend it in SSS Store!

My card is an old fashion transport - a huge hot air balloon.
I love this stamp from Remnants set (thanks, Sandra!)
just because it's really big and bold and can be a great focal point.
Here below I have written steps to make this card by yourself.

1. Take a watercolor paper as your card base.
2. Stamp the Rings with clear embossing powder
and apply Black Embossing Powder, heat to melt the powder.
3. Apply Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen on the background.
4. Stamp any pattern randomly to give more depth.
5. Smear the edges with Black Soot Distress Crayon.
Your background is ready!

6. Stamp the Balloon on a watercolor paper and cut it out.
7. Color the top in red and the bottom in yellow.
8. Cover the top red with clear embossing powder making it glossy.
9. For more interest place small dots with Nuvo Drops around the balloon
and adhere it with 3D dots to get dimension.

10. Cut out your sentiment from a watercolor paper.
11. Color it in red and adhere to the background.
12. Cover them with Glossy Accents giving glossy finish and deep color.
Your card is ready!!!
